Apparently Scott Adkins is the new Van Damme. Not that there’s anything wrong with the old Van damme, but JCVD never went into the depths of silliness/awesomeness that is the ninja genre. Chuck Norris sure did, but now there is a new and improved white-ninja type: Scott Adkins.
Scott Adkins has been making headway into the frontline of Action heroes for some time now, featuring prominently and awesomely as the main baddie in the excellent Undisputed II, and fought against Van Damme one of his more decent DTV films, The Shepherd.
Adkins’ new film, Ninja, comes out later this year. And it looks like a blast:
